Established since 1990, Durag Niwas Guest House holds the reputation of being one of the oldest and first few guest houses in Jodhpur today - A Rajput family run guest house, a travelers home stay.
At our home we wish to make your stay most comfortable and memorable, staying with our family you will experience the difference between staying at an ordinary guest house or hotel and staying with the hospitality and familiar atmosphere of a family run guest house.
If you are staying somewhere else on your travel to Jodhpur you are always welcome to come over for tea, coffee or Coke or to use any of our services we offer.
This household has always been welcoming guests and enjoying giving others hospitality for many years. We remember when we were very young boys our Grandpa hosted many parties of all the important local family including the Army, Police, Politicians and Royalty. We remember walking down the road being welcomed by the sound of laughter and music and we knew Grandpa was having another one of his parties! We have carried on this tradition ever since by welcoming guests and hoping that they experience some of the culture and traditions that happen throughout the year in an old traditional house including Diwali - festival of lights -, Holi - festival of colours - and many other celebrations.
There are other festivals hosted in Jodhpur such as RIFF (Rajasthan International Folk Festival) and World Sufi Spirit Festival that are world famous.
