The guest house is situated very central in the area of education department, on some distance on 4 sides of our home we are surrounded by vegetable, fruit market, Super Market, the famous Handicraft Market of Jodhpur, college, schools, university, high court, club, play grounds etc. This is an experience to stay and feel the difference of today’s not touristy developing India and most of these places are empty after their working hours till 4.00pm everyday.
Our area is very calm and quite in mornings and at night, very green and clean around. We are right on the entrance of the Gaushala Play ground, Raika Bagh area, which is 15 minutes walk to the old city or 25 Rs maximum by rickshaw to the Clock tower/Sardar market (old city) from where you can walk to the Fort etc., so after a hot, chaotic day, come and relax at our little paradise.
It’s only 15 minutes drive from the Jodhpur air port, 60 Rs by rickshaw, 10 minutes drive from the main Jodhpur railway station, 30 Rs by rickshaw, and 5 minutes drive from the main government bus station, 20 Rs by rickshaw. Private buses are not allowed to come into the city in day hours, so guests coming by bus owned by private bus operators coming from Udaipur, Pushkar or Jaislmer will be dropped away from the center or our place, in such case a rickshaw should not be costing more than 40 Rs to our guest house.
We gladly pick you up for free (depends on the availability of our vehicle) if you give us a call before or upon arriving in town at any hour from any part of the town. If you would like a taxi picking up service kindly let us know and consult with us the costs and everything in advance.

Beware of the hassle and basal of the “mafia” - meaning the touts and the aggressive rickshaw drivers on your arrival in the town, this people would try to misguide you to choose some other guest house with similar name or places offering them fat commission and presents.
